Big Island Homes for Sale have seen steady price improvement month to month as well as year to year.

November 2017 Numbers

The median sales price for Big Island Homes for Sale was $386,000 in November 2017 compared to $359,000 during November 2016, overall increase of 7.52% on median sales prices. Statistics for each district:

  • Puna: 13.01% increase
  • South Hilo: 6.94% increase
  • North Hilo: no residential sales during November 2016
  • Hamakua: 35.99% increase
  • North Kohala: 30.57% decrease
  • South Kohala: 4.76% increase
  • North Kona: 6.62% increase
  • South Kona: 16.50% decrease
  • Ka’u: 26.74% decrease

The number of Big Island Homes for Sale that sold was 178 in November 2017 vs. 185 in November 2016 which is a 3.78% decrease. But year to date the market has seen an up trend with a 8.63% increase on total residential properties sold when compared to same period last year.
